| if i go 16v it will be a much more reliable engine although still french, will be a much lower mileage example and if i want to put TBs, supercharger or a turbo on it, it will put alot less strain on a newer engine as opposed to putting them on my 8v lump its difficult although 16v seems to be winning but the whole rallye character is 8v | |

| i was just reading about them, i might buy one but need to work out how to get it back from cardiff and somewhere to keep it, then ill build it up with uprated cams etc and map it as soon as its dropped in, that way i can do it as funds allow | |

| shaun i think you need to hear and see mine before you choose.
the only reason i would go 16v is if i got hold of a low mileage JP4 C2 lump and stuck a set of Cat Cam 708's in. that would make 160bhpish with a remap.
Aha John!! hows it going mate? need to show you my car too lol | |
