Power is lower down, which is good , saves ragging the love out of the engine, would have thought the torque a bit higher, but then again the cam is a lumpy one, what about going for a 4-1 manifold? They seem to move the power and torque up the rev range ?

double checked the torque. its 129ft/lb @5600rpm. which to be honest is nice Razz . i seen a 199bhp 16v and he made 136ft/lb or so much higher revs. Shocked

and i got more to come to be honest. so i am not too worried. giving it a good ol' rag is what its all about. lol Laughing

once warm of course. Razz

I'm favouring the Janspeed, which a few have said is best. its the cheaper than a Supersprint too, but its mild steel. Neutral

Right got me a nice Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold now and some Bilstein B8 dampers and Grp N top mounts. also a cheeky little Mocal 13 row oil cooler.

car is going back to Atspeed Racing for the manifold bit of trimming on the map and to sort out the cold start and the speedo.
a new Omex Coolant Temperature sensor will be added. thsi should help with the cold starting.

be good to see if the manifold makes any difference.

Car is booked in @ Atspeed Racing for 13th Feb.
Getting manifold fitted and bit more mapping and some trimming of the map.

also gonna have a new Omex coolant temp sensor which once set up and configured should give a much stronger cold start.

Also having the speedo fixed too.

Gonna be asking a few questions about where to go next, whether to go Hi Comp N/A or look into Supercharged on Throttle bodies.

the car is back bitches.

made 129.9bhp at 7300rpm at the wheels. which equates to around 156bhp at the fly. the rev limiter is set at 8300rpm and pops and bangs like a motherfucker!!! some nice flames from time to time too.
